To enter GIF IT UP, you need to make a GIF with material found from one of these sources: Europeana, DPLA, Digital NZ, Trove, Japan Search, DAG Museums, Art Institute of Chicago, Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec or Centro de Fotografía de Montevideo.
Your source material must be clearly marked as: in the public domain, has a ‘no known copyright restrictions’ statement or has a Creative Commons statement which allows reuse (CC0, CC BY, CC BY-SA).

Submissions will open on October 1.
